A crawl is the middle act of a night out in Tbilisi, between dinner and a club or a late plate of food. Which kind you pick depends on who you're with.

A DIY bar crawl through Sololaki
Sololaki is the one part of town where bar-hopping needs no taxi: 30 venues from the best bars in Tbilisi and its sister lists sit within a few minutes' walk of Dadi Wine Bar. Go in closing-time order and start at the wine bars, since 11 of the 15 on our list close between midnight and 2 AM on a Saturday.

Dadi's wine list leans on artisan Georgian winemakers working with minimal intervention, and one reviewer's server walked them from a white through several ambers to a red. If amber wine is new to you, start here.
Tsota Tsota is the Megobrebi brewery's own taproom, pouring Georgian beer from smoothie-style sours to hoppy ales, and it tops our list of craft beer bars. Don't count on a taster: 2 reviewers this year complain they couldn't get one.
A few doors along, Chacha Time calls itself Georgia's first chacha museum. It's the stop that needs a plan.
The last 2 stops are on Galaktion Tabidze St, both from our cocktail bars. 41° Art of Drinks hides behind a small sign, one reviewer warns, and another's bartender asked what flavours they liked and made a new drink when the first one missed.
Bar 22 is a few doors further on. Reviewers keep mentioning its house tinctures, and one got to choose the music, which is real power at 2 AM.
Route B: a short walk around Shalva Dadiani St
For the shortest walk, stay on and around Shalva Dadiani St, the densest bar street on our lists: after Dadi, Route B takes 5 more bars in closing order, all a few minutes' walk apart, and Ambavi is the one stop on Galaktion Tabidze St. World's End, top of our pubs and sports bars, is the stop for darts and board games, and Ambavi serves no food, 2 reviewers say, so eat at Rudeboy first.

Set that against the crawl. The 100 GEL ticket buys 5 shots, a guide and a group, with every other drink on top; on your own, the same 100 GEL is about 3 cocktails at 41° prices, or 20 lagers at Warszawa's.
Where to eat between bars
Eat on the route: Chacha Time's open-fire kitchen serves until 1:30 AM, Dadi cooks small plates and Soda puts out free lavash with the drinks. Order early at Chacha Time, though, since 2 reviewers this summer waited an hour or more for their food.
If you drift to Liberty Square, 11:11 serves late-night food until 3 AM on Fridays and Saturdays. On Route B, So Lucky's kitchen stays open until 4 AM.
After the last bar: clubs and getting home
If the night isn't over, the nightclubs take over, and the weekend techno clubs run until 10 or 11 AM by their Google hours. Pace the shots: the techno clubs publish door rules, and Bassiani and Left Bank both turn away anyone visibly drunk.
The metro runs from 6 AM to midnight, according to Georgia's national tourism administration, so it's shut for most of any crawl. Book the ride home in an app such as Bolt rather than flagging a car in the street.
